  1. Domestic Postgraduate Education Scholarship (BPPDN)

    This scholarship is available to lecturers, prospective lecturers, and educational staff at both state and private universities under the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture.   2. Excellence Scholarship (Funded from the Ministry of Education and Culture)

    A scholarship from the Indonesian government is available for teachers studying for a Master's or Doctoral degree. Initially, this scholarship was awarded to employees or lecturers from LPMP (Institute for Teacher Training and Education) or PPPG (Institute for Teacher Training and Education) programs throughout Indonesia. It was later extended to students in the Master's Programs of Teacher Education (PEP) and Doctoral Programs of Teacher Education (PTK). It later expanded to include the MP (Planning for Teacher Training and Education) and Psn (Psn) programs. The scholarship also covers tuition fees and living expenses.   3. Dissertation Research Grant Scholarship

    The Dissertation Research Grant is a scholarship awarded by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DP2M DIKTI) to doctoral students. This grant provides financial assistance for Doctoral Dissertation Research, the research content of which is part of the dissertation research.

  4. Sandwich-Like Scholarship

    Sandwich-Like Scholarship is a scholarship from Dikti for short study (4 months) to universities abroad for doctoral students who are permanent lecturers (PNS, PTS and permanent Foundation) from PT throughout Indonesia who are registered and active in one Postgraduate Program. In 2011, PPs UNY successfully sent 17 participants, namely, 4 people to the University of Illinois, USA; 6 people to Ohio State University, USA; 3 people to Technische University Dresden, Germany; 1 person to Birmingham City, UK; 1 person to Osaka City, Japan; 1 person to Flinders University, Australia; and 1 person to New Brunswich, Canada.

  5. Other Scholarships

    In addition to the scholarships mentioned, PPs also provides scholarships from the Indonesian government, namely, PAUDNI Scholarships (for kindergarten teachers), Vocational Scholarships (for vocational school teachers), and Ministry of Religion Scholarships (for teachers and lecturers under the Ministry of Religion).

    In addition to the scholarships mentioned, PPs also provides scholarships from the Indonesian government, namely, PAUDNI Scholarships (for kindergarten teachers), Vocational Scholarships (for vocational school teachers), and Ministry of Religion Scholarships (for teachers and lecturers under the Ministry of Religion).

  1. Free Joint Degree

    This scholarship is provided for participants of the Joint Degree Ph.D. program of Technische University Dresden, Germany and UNY for 1 year at TUD Germany.
